Alive

​

How many times because of needs have I raved and ranted?

I never realized until now, I took my salvation for granted.

 

I paused recently to think, “What if it were true instead,

That Jesus Christ truly never rose from the dead?”

 

I would be trapped, hopeless, and helpless, deep within my sin.

Condemned and unforgiven, in eternal separation from Him.

 

What a thought! And one to make me remember and realize,

What a promise from God, my Savior is alive!
