Do not lose heart when outwardly we waste away,

for inwardly, in Christ, we are renewed day by day.

 

Our troubles are achieving for us an eternal reward that far outweighs all.

In the light of eternity, surely those momentary burdens laden small.

 

Fix our eyes on what is unseen, hoped for, eternal each and every day.

What is seen is temporary, shadowed, and swiftly passes away.
